Amina has been a professional belly dance performer and instructor since 1998 and has performed at an assortment of venues over the years. Hiring a professional belly dancer as entertainment for your next party or event is the right decision whether for adults, men, women or children. A belly dance (Raqs Sharki) show alone or a show combined with instruction is a great choice for almost any event looking for lively, upbeat entertainment. It’s the perfect way to get the party started and inspire your guests. Amina is currently a certified Zumba instructor, Yoga fit Level 1 instructor, and has obtained her ISSA CFT for fitness training. She is currently studying nutrition as well.
Amina’s shows are suitable for all crowds regardless of age, sex or ethnicity. Great for children and teen parties as well. Amina’s shows include improvisation, choreography, veil, finger cymbals, sword, cane, live drumming, etc. and she also provides multiple dancers for larger events as well as snake charmers, tribal dancers, fire dancers (poi and glow poi), fire baton (also glow baton), Polynesian dancers, Bollywood, tarot card readers, henna artists, psychics, comedians, magicians and DJ’s for your special event. She takes special requests with regard to music choices for your event and does her best to accommodate the needs of the client.
Amina has provided well trained, elegant, professional, highly experienced dancers and entertainers in their field, for over a decade. Amina and her performers have extensive experience performing at all kinds of events from birthday parties to weddings, baby and bridal showers, bar and bat mitzvahs, sweet six-teens, quinces and holiday parties of all kinds (NO BACHELOR PARTIES).
A belly dance show is a great choice for a New Years Eve party and/or any other holiday party or corporate event. There are many dancers to choose from today for your event, hire Amina and everyone present will have an event to remember and may even learn a move or two in the process.
INSTRUCTION & SHOWS WITH AMINA
Amina has special packages for teens and/or women who want to perform at their own big celebration as a surprise for their guests. Amina will teach a short Oriental belly dance routine to the B-Day girl or guest of honor, through private instruction (Amina’s music or yours, keep it short, 2 ½ minutes at most); Amina will perform the routine with the client at the party or event, if preferred; or the guest of honor may wish to perform as a soloist. Amina will also do a twenty (20-25) minute performance, which may include choreography, props, such as sword, cane, Isis wings, veil, finger cymbals, candles, (zills) fire or glow baton, glow poi, even snake charming, improvisation, and audience interaction and/or instruction.
Batmitzvahs, Quinces and Sweet 16’s
A combination of the guest of honor performing at her own party, and a professional belly dancer or group of dancers performing after the guest of honor as the entertainment highlight for the evening, is a great idea. Amina will teach you a routine (choreography) to a song of her choice or yours to help you prepare for your performance at your special event. Amina can perform your dance with you, if you prefer, or you can perform it as a solo, it’s your Special Day, so it’s your choice.
If you choose your own music to perform to, be aware it may take longer to learn because the dance will need to be choreographed by Amina prior to and/or during your private lessons. Also consider the length of the piece you choose, not too long.
You may prefer not to perform and just have a belly dance show, maybe some interaction with the audience and a little instruction for your interested guests and the guest of honor. The choice is yours. Prices vary depending on what you choose, so please call Amina to discuss details and options.

All shows booked for 6:00 pm or later are considered evening performances. There will be an additional charge of $25 minimum, for performances booked after 11:00 p.m.
